New LG G6 leak provides clearest look yet at LG's 2017 flagship

The G5 didn't work out for LG, so it made some changes with the V20. Now we're mere weeks away from the G6, and it's been a pretty leaky phone. The best images of the unannounced phone we've yet seen are now making the rounds. It's not the prettiest phone, but maybe the pics don't do it justice.

Huawei P10 leaks pick up steam as MWC approaches

Huawei is expected to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the P10, later this month at Mobile World Congress. It's not doing the best job of keeping a lid on the P10, though. The latest round of leaks have revealed a great deal about the phone, including three different color options: blue, gold, and green. Yes, green.

[Update: Specs] Moto G5 and G5 Plus press images leak ahead of announcement

It's a foregone conclusion that Motorola/Lenovo will be releasing a new Moto G phone in the near future, and it looks like a Spanish retailer jumped the gun a little. Press images were posted and quickly taken down, but not before they were grabbed and shared on Twitter. So, behold the Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

A really fake 'HTC 11' leak is fooling a depressing number of people

In an era where #fakenews awareness is at an all-time high, we should all be doing our part to combat the problem of false information spreading online. Even if it's about something as benign as phone specifications. But sometimes the speed and breadth with which some rather obviously fake information is picked up can be a little scary. Take this "leak" of the 'HTC 11' (a phone by which name does not and will not exist).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 details leak ahead of expected MWC unveiling [Update]

There's a dearth of high-end Android tablets on the market, mostly because people don't buy many of them anymore. If anyone can move a tablet, though, it's Samsung. The Galaxy Tab S2 was launched in late 2015, and now it looks like the Tab S3 is headed for MWC. A new leak lays out the specs for the device, as well as an alleged (very high) price tag in Korea.

Be wary of fake "leaks," especially from Twitter accounts like @VenyaGeskin1

If you have read any tech sites, including Android Police, you probably know how common product leaks are. There was almost nothing new about the Google Pixel when it was finally announced, due to months of continuous leaks. Intentional leaks are often used by companies to generate hype, as is likely the case for the LG G6. Rumors even trickle out of Apple occasionally - how many months in advance did we learn about the iPhone 7's lack of a headphone jack?

[Update: Better shots] Google's LG-built Android Wear 2.0 watches appear to have leaked in low-res form

We're just a few weeks away from the release of Android Wear 2.0, and along with that we expect Google's new watches to arrive. Google has confirmed it's working on these devices, but little else. Following a spec-heavy report last week from VentureBeat, there's now a new piece of the puzzle. An image has leaked that purports to show the two watches, and they look very much like we'd expect them to look.

VentureBeat posts first live photo of the Galaxy S8, claims massive 5.8" and 6.2" displays, March 29th announcement

VentureBeat has just posted what is believed to be the first photo of a real, live Galaxy S8. Two of them, in fact. Samsung's unreleased smartphones have seen rumors hit a fever pitch in recent weeks, and these photos confirm a number of key details about the devices, which are expected to launch to retail some time in April.

Blass's photo would seem to confirm our own suspicions that the fingerprint scanner has been moved to be adjacent to the camera module, an odd location to be sure, but there's no doubting what that thing off to the right is. We also see a USB Type-C port (I know, it looks a bit uneven, that's just camera distortion), 3.5mm headphone jack, and a bottom-firing speaker.

HTC: We are not building an Android Wear watch (at least, not anymore)

A quote from a high-level HTC executive is circulating this morning categorically denying that the company is building an Android Wear smartwatch, despite a leak of what very much looks like an HTC / Under Armour Android Wear smartwatch last week. So, what do we believe? Well, after reaching out to HTC, they confirmed to us that the quote - "we're not going to have an Android watch" - is accurate. I would take that as the end of discussion on the matter: No HTC Android Wear smartwatch is happening.

Further, speaking to an unnamed source, we've learned that the Under Armour watch pictured above is actually a very old prototype, not something the company is currently working on, and probably hasn't worked on in a long time.

Image of unclear provenance shows Galaxy S8 panels with shockingly minimal bezel, rounded display corners

An image published on the Twitter handle @dfordesign appears to show what are two display covers for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphones. The tweet, in Polish, was actually sent out two days ago, but it just now appears to be getting picked up by a small number of blogs. The tweet and subsequent replies from the author do not offer any kind of context for the source of the image, unfortunately.
